Valencia CF Academy, third in Spain for players developed in professional football
Valencia CF have 38 players trained at the VCF Academy competing in 49 leagues around the world
The VCF Academy in Canada has got its activity underway at the start of September. This Tuesday, the boys and girls who form part of the new project undertook their first on-pitch training at the facilities of College Bourget in Montreal -the second largest city in the North American country.
The sessions will be carried out on a weekly basis under the supervision of Natalia García, Technical Manager of the Valencia CF Canada Academy, who has travelled to Montreal to help establish the Valencia CF methodology and the club's values in the new setup.
College Bourget is an educational institution dating back over 170 years, and has a working philosophy in which academia is as important as sport. This approach fits perfectly with the VCF Academy motto of “We educate people and train footballers.”
The VCF Academy in Canada is part of the Valencia CF International Academies project, that already has 14 centres spread across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The aim is to spread the image of Valencia CF and the working methodology of the club and the VCF Academy.
